There are many signs and symptoms that will indicate a leak in your home or property. Here's a few common signs. It is important to take care of even small leaks that you think "can wait".
- Unusually high water bills
- Hearing the sound of running water: You can hear the continuous sound of water (like a toilet running) when nothing is turned on.
- Your walls or floors have wet, spongy, moist, or discolored areas when nothing has been spilled.
- Warm spots in the floor
- Your building foundation cracks, vegetation grows unevenly, or earth shifts for no apparent reason.
- Mold or soft spots in the wall
- Discolored or buckling floors
- Strong odors or the smell of Methane could indicate a cracked sewer line
